So many adventures. So few times.

My photo
My life is pretty dull. I play with a toddler, watch a lot of Yo Gabba Gabba and experiment with the crock pot. I have no bed time and I find humor in Laffy Taffy jokes. Conan O'Brien is my anti-drug.

I got the okay!

Alrighty, to be more specific, I got the okay to use the step machine, walk on the treadmill and use a stationary bike. It's only been 3 1/2 weeks and I am SO FLIPPING RELIEVED.

I can finally start burning off some of these chocolate cookies. Woot!

ACL recovery and the ever-ballooning ass

On March 24th while in a cardio bootcamp class, I tore my ACL. It was well over a month later before I fully knew what was going on courtesy of lagging doctors and my own uncertainties. May 1st I had reconstructive surgery on my left ACL, and in turn it's been a downward spiral. I've had three and 1/2 weeks since, and while I'm up and moving relatively well I can feel myself falling into despair from the lack of cardio and from the steady stream of muscle loss all over my body.

I'm so anxious for change.
(See that? That's false excitement. I live on that lately.)
