Love when women excitedly post about dramatically restricting calories to aggressively lose pounds on a stupid scale.
Love it even more when their girlfriends comment to give them tips on how to eat **even less**.
Can’t we as women be allowed to not be our smallest selves?! To not try to make ourselves shrink so everyone else is more comfortable?! To not be ashamed of our soft curves, but instead embrace them, nurish them, and make them stronger?
I refuse to be ashamed of the way my body is shaped or how it carries its gravitational pull to the earth. I’d rather eat a salad if I’m craving a salad, and eat a burger if I want a burger. I drink water when I’m thirsty, and have no shame over the whipped cream on my coffee. I do cardio when I have energy to burn but love to lift weights because my muscles make me proud.
I’m 👏🏻 done 👏🏻 with 👏🏻 diets. 👏🏻
